1. Do I need to install anything to use this program?
iSite is a web browser-based application. An Internet connection is the only thing needed to build or manage an iSite website. No additional software is needed.
2. Can I have my own domain (.com) name?
Yes, you can have a custom domain name (example: www.yoursite.com) that points to a website built using iSite. Just
let us know the domain name you want to register, and we will set it up for you.
3. How do I add my own header graphic?

4. How do I upload images?
The administration tool provides a full image management section. For a tutorial see Managing Images.
5. Do I need to know HTML, have programming skills, or possess multimedia design skills?
iSite was designed to allow users to build powerful websites without knowing HTML, programming,
or graphic design. If you can navigate the Web, you can build and manage a website using iSite.
6. I know how to do HTML design, can I use my skills with this program?
Although HTML knowledge is not necessary to utilize iSite, iSite has the flexibility to allow you to put your programming skills to use. The WYSIWYG browser-based content editor allows you to copy and paste HTML code, or write your
own code. Almost every section of your iSite website can be modified to fit your business needs.
This includes adding your own images, creating online forms, and creating links to other websites and pages.
7. How do I change my footer information?
The footer information can be changed using the administration tool. Click on the Profile link in the main menu and modify your company information. After making the necessary changes to your company information, click "Update Information!" to save the changes.
8. Why does my administration tool time-out and force me to login again?
The administration tool is set to time-out after 20 minutes of idle time. This is a security precaution. To log back in, simply re-enter
your password.
9. How do I add a form to my website?
There is a form building tool integrated with iSite. To view a demo of this tool see the Managing Pages section.
10. How do I add a calendar or other tool to my website?
Every new page you create has various "Page Types" that you can specify.
If you set a Page Type to "calendar" for example, the calendar tool will instantly be added to that page. To remove all tools from a given page, change
the Page Type to "Text Only".
11. Can I change site text colors or background colors in iSite?
Yes, you can change all colors in iSite. From the administration tool's main menu, select "Site Options" then click on the "Site / Text Colors" button on the right hand
side. From there you can make the modifications you require.
12. What is the best way to get listed in search engines?
While there is not an easy way to get listed in all search engines, you can certainly get off to a good
start by submitting your new website to the top search engines. We have provided links to some of the major search engines
in the "Marketing" section of the website administration tool.
